  1. $25 Salad! $20 Omelet!  $18 Gyro- Gotta be wealthy to eat healthy..on Madison Avenue!

Three Guys is an excellent restaurant with one of those menus that has giant pages full of fare from Breakfast to Salads and Hamburger Fare.  You will pay the price, but you will be very satisfied and full!

For breakfast we tried the Challah french Toast and their breakfast sausage links (wow!!), their LEO omelet (with house made smoked salmon- yum), and the raison bread French Toast.  Try the freshly quizzed juices:  The Grapefruit was amazing!

For lunch, we tried the salads.  The Teriyaki Salmon with Mangos was perfect and served with a very very generous well-cooked piece of salmon.  The gyro sandwich and gyro plate did not disappoint!

Quick, clean, friendly and efficient- if you find yourself hungry on the Upper East Side, Three Guys will do the trick!

  2. I stopped by for lunch one day as I arrived a bit early for a salon appointment I had around the corner.  It looked quaint and inviting from the outside, much more so than many of the other eateries in this area of town so decided to give it a shot.  I was starving and there didn't appear to be much to choose from.

This place is SUPER expensive.  Don't get me wrong, it sits on Manhattans Upper East side but wow, I never realized a soup and sandwich at what appears to be a local diner could cost more than 20 bucks!  On the plus side, the service was fast, and they do have a ton to choose from on the menu.  I had an egg salad sandwich and the matzo ball soup, both were good, but not worth the price paid. The pickle however, tasted like crap!  Rotten almost!

If you find yourself starving on the Upper East side, unless you have deep pockets, or dont mind eating from a street vendor, get outta this area of town pronto.  Nothing, not even a sandwich at a local deli is affordable or reasonable for that matter. Hop in a cab to Hells Kitchen area of NYC…much more affordable and the food is fantastic!

  3. "Hit the spot." When looking for solid, reasonably priced Greek-diner-food just steps away from the Metropolitan Museum, you can count on this place. Friendly, clean tasty. No surprises. Just right for casual meal when the Trustees Dining Room isn't your style!

  4. A very good BLT sandwich on the Upper East Side….. as it should be for $10 (but then again, I'm used to Buffalo prices). There was lots of crisp, flavorful bacon, crisp leaf lettuce, and slices of tomato that tasted like August-fresh-from-the-farmer's-market. The whole thing was served on a choice of bread (white, rye, sour dough, multigrain, or wheat) with a perfect sour pickle spear.

The service was friendly and the place (including the bathroom…. yep…. that matters!) was very clean and bright. And, the menu had lots of choices including salads and burgers and omelets and complete dinners. A solid place to stop for a bite to eat.

  5. For what it is, 5 stars!

I was recommended by the Surrey and they were right! I had the burger Deluxe and asked for it medium. Came out perfect.
Wine list is solid and a huge Greek menu.

Breakfasts look great so I'll be back!

  6. Ordered two entrees: a cajun chicken sandwich w/ fries and two eggs, a sausage and homefries = $34 + tax and tip. For a diner (esp on the UES) it is a bit pricier but considering how close it is to Central Park and The Met, I can see how they can get away with it. If you're feeling up to it, walk a few avenues over to Lexington where your choices will be more plentiful without paying steep tourtisty prices.

  7. Before heading the the Guggenheim, my girlfriend and I wanted a quick snack. Walking around aimlessly around the UWS, we stumbled up on Three Guys Restaurant. This place looked like a typical diner-type restaurant, so what could possibly go wrong? The menu was typical of all diners, including your usual sandwiches and omelets.

Simply put, the food here was pretty underwhelming. The nachos that we ordered were disgusting. The tortilla chips were burnt and had a char taste, and the cheese was obviously put through a microwave. In addition, it didn't help that the chicken was dry. My tuna melt was typical, but that's not saying much since tuna melt making isn't really rocket science.

The redeeming factor here was that the waiter noticed that the nachos were just unacceptable and took it off the bill. Sorry Three Guys, this guy won't be coming back anytime soon.

  8. Good food, high price for what you get.  Tourist and regular crowd mix.  Loud.   Overall nothing bad to say but nothing puts this place above the rest.
