  1. My husband and I on our weekend walks had walked by this place multiple times, and I had made it a mental note to give this place a fair try.  Last week, a friend and I just finished working out at the NYSC gym nearby, and decided to try their dinner selection.

This place by the looks on the outside, seemed to offer more seating that what they actually have.  It really better serves the purpose as a take out place.  There are about 3-4 tables, and the sushi bar as soon as you walk in.  The phone was ringing pretty often, so we sat down.  The waitress, who was also what seemed to be the owner, was very nice and gave us the menus.  They have buy one special sushi roll, you get the next one free, which can rack up the cash quickly.

We got the King Roll and the Black Dragon roll, which were both filled with spicy kani, shrimp, eel, and all of my other favorite things.  They were pretty big to share for the two of us, and were filled with sauces.  If you're into the pure and simple sushi, I would not opt for these two rolls of choice.  They were really tasty, and were fresh; I had no complaints at all!  Then, we both got the dinner bento box of beef negimaki.  For $15.95, you got your choice of entrée, shrimp and vegetable tempura, a California roll, fried vegetable dumplings, and white right.  It was pretty filling, and we were barely able to finish, especially how hungry we both were.

I need to come here with the hubby for his seal of approval!

  2. $41 got us:
    – Samurai Roll
    – Eel Avocado
    – California Roll
    – Salmon Roll
    – Salmon Teriyaki
    – Edamame (complimentary if you spend over $30)

Everything was quite fresh, which surprised us. I am so excited to return in the future once again for more great grub.   I don't think they offer AYCE, but if they ever did, I'd be there in a heartbeat.

FYI, they have a promotion going on where they feature BOGO rolls.  These rolls just come out to average pricing since they're $15+ each.

We found parking easily enough immediately outside the restaurant.  Decor is very simple, and the service is passable-friendly.  Several small tables are set out for the dining area, so it is not the kind of place where you would bring a large crowd.
