  2. This is my new to go to Thai place. It's in a convenient location, the staff is super friendly, and the food is tasty. I ate dinner here a few weeks ago. The space isn't very large, but they were able to accommodate my party of eight. In addition, I have gotten take out here quite a few times. I usually go during lunch. I order either the pad thai with chicken or the pad see ew with beef and a thai iced tea. The lunch specials also come with vegetable soup. I think I pay about $10. I can never finish the entire portion. Overall, I am definitely coming back when I have a craving for Thai food.

  3. This place had incredible reviews so I just had to try it!  I did enjoy my meal and may visit again, but I'm not sure about all the raves.  I started with Papaya Salad…I ordered it medium spicy but I was blown away by the heat- almost to the point of numbness.  The salad had the right taste but was almost difficult to eat.  The Chix Basil was good, but a pale brown sauce was a bit boring on the buds…I usually feel that a bit of color in this sauce adds to the flavor.  I rarely see Pumpkin Custard on Thai menus and this place served it actually baked in a pumpkin (gourd).  Great idea…The pumpkin meat was an added treat, but the actual custard lacked the signature sweetness.  I will try to visit again if I'm in the area…not sure I'd make a special trip.

  4. Good food, SLOW as crazy service.  I was so hungry.. I had the red curry and it was the right amount of spicy and flavor.  The seats are limited, so… if you have to wait for a seat — it's probably not worth the wait.  Waiting for a seat + waiting for the food.. you will probably faint from being so hungry.

  5. Only have gotten take out from this place. Always quick. I've only tried the spicy basil fried rice, pad see ew, panang and green curries. Nothing super amazing but no complaints. Your standard average Thai food. $10 minimum for credit card.

  6. Delicious Thai cusines!
Already I have visited Tommy Thai over a dizen because they are new, their food is very good, and it is near my home!
I also don't have the to deal with the crowded Thai restaurants in along "Thai-town" (Elmhurst on Broadway and Woodside Ave.) as so named by my Thai friends.

Their decor is a collect is collectibles someone would have when they go vacationing in Thai.

    Food 4/5
    Service 4/5
    Restroom 4/5

  7. I am such a sucker for Pad Thai — even the bad ones. The Pad Thai at this place though, is so much more than your typical chewy, sweet and tangy Thai noodle. It has more scallion, more peanuts, more bean sprouts, AND the chicken tastes real!

Their other dishes that I've gotten have been mediocre — noodle dishes are definitely better than the rice dishes. Would come back again for the Pad Thai!

  8. Been ordering delivery from this restaurant a few times already & a while ago got a chance to go with my boyfriend. The place is small & cozy. Lots of decorations that makes it look like bohemian style.

When we came in we got seated fast. We dicided to order
    appetizer: calamari- fried breaded squid.
Main dish: My bf got beef basil noodles- its a flat noodle with beef & some thai sauce.
I ordered beef salad- grilled beef with cucumber, lettuce & some spicy sauce.
For drinks we got thai iced tea.

I love the texture of the calamari. Its not so soft & not so hard. The breaded that they put taste really good too & the sauce on the side to use for dipping. I tried the food of my bf & its perfect. Its spicy but good amount of spice that you'll enjoy everything. Mine is yummy too! If you love spice & those soy sauce that they use then you'll love mine. It has grilled beef & perfect match with cucumbers, onions & lettuce! Yumm!

By the way the owner is nice & very welcoming.
Great food & service! For sure coming back for more!
