Ahh… traveling across the US of A, we had time for but one meal in New Jersey. Pretty much everything in the media had led me to believe that NJ was the armpit of the nation. I suppose that may be true in certain parts, but our primarily I-80 trip doesn't support that notion. Wife looked up Tommy's Taste of Italy in our quest for a true NJ meal. If this place is representative of Jersey, then:
1) People don't like to work past 3 on Sundays
2) Damn good subs can be produced, albeit slowly
3) Cashiers play out the stereotype
4) Commercial and Residential can mix without everybody losing their cool.
Can't say I'll ever visit this area again, but if by chance I do, I'll be back.
