Meh.
I came here and wanted to get bubble tea. I tried to order and the girls said no more bubbles. What? How do you not have any more bubbles. Okay, thanks… -_- (sad/disappointed)
My aunt did buy some pastries, they looked good, but didn't have much in stock when I came… Friday afternoon around 2pm(?)
I probably wouldn't come here again for any bubble tea or Asian pastry needs.
My first time at a Tous Les Jours establishment.. This one seemed very organized, clean, well maintained. Plenty of seating. Large variety of baked goods and pastries. Decent selection of drinks, bubble tea, coffee, tea, etc. Fairly priced.
I love the ambiance of this establishment, and it is nicer than others in this chain. Everything is super clean and neat. The pastries are high in quality, but do note, their price reflects that (in case you came with little cash). Their whole cakes are beautiful and delicious! The service is excellent. Be aware that their tea is a ripoff. It's expensive and simply a Lipton tea bag (and not their fancy series either) with some milk. If I wanted that I would either a) make it myself, or b) go to fay da/taipan and pay a lot less. Otherwise, I really enjoy this place.
Came here last night with my mother and purchased 2 slices of cake. The first was a mango mousse slice with fresh mango chunks, in between thin slices of vanilla cake topped with a light whipled cream icing. Very light! and I loved the fact that the mango chunks were fresh. The second slice was a blueberry mousse with fresh blueberries on top and in between. The cake had a certain tartness because of the blueberries which was lovely. This place never dissapoints.
Love this place.
They have the best pastries in the area.
My favorite is the blueberry cream cheese filled danish but I'll get just about anything.
To my surprise the cheesecakes are just as delicious, considering there is nothing else around here.
The coffee is yummy and they offer a variety of other drinks that I have yet to try.
It is SO hard to find a decent bakery in Flushing. All the Chinese ones fare the same, with the same buns and sponge cakes in different forms but same taste.
Paris Baguette & TLJ are the Korean superstars in this hood.
TLJ is a nice change, with so many varieties of hot dog buns!!! There's also ample seating for old Chinese men to sit around and read newspapers. But more spacious than your typical cramped Chinese bakery.
One star off because their cakes are not up to par with Paris Baguette. Get your breakfast buns here but get cakes from PB!
Good place to sit down and enjoy coffee and do some reading.
Nice ambiance, and nice crowd
This is a big bakery/coffee/bubble tea place with plenty of seats. It's bright, clean, and smell good. It's good for chilling with friends or working or studying. There are multiple plug ins with wifi available. It's semi quiet, connected to the mall, and have a TV playing Korean music non stop. There is red mango next door if you want a change of taste. Also, one time I forgot my laptop charger and they found it and kept it for me. I like this place.
