Trattoria Pesce Pasta Quattro
“The menu is reasonably-priced, old-school Italian, though recently they've started offering brunch.”
“It can get crowded friday and saturday evenings, but you don't have to wait for long, just pile in with the regulars at the bar.”
“My friend moved out of NYC in 2007 and, though I've been to the city since then, I have not made it back up to the UWS.”

I'm delighted to report on a five star experience with my best Sunday boyfriend (my dad). I respect and appreciate a business that draws a man away from his retirement to honor the traditions of the business. Meet Bruno. He treated us with an attentive care that was both impressive and heartening. We first sat for a spontaneous drink. Once we enjoyed a bit of conversation and local friendliness, we decided to stay for dinner. Bruno, picked up our grocery bags and neatly placed them on a chair. He also tucked my backpack to keep it out of the way of patrons or passersby. Our food was simple and good; and really reminded me of home cooked meal. If you order the steak, you'll appreciate the dog friendly neighbors. There are always folks happy to give their doggies some of your meat trimmings. All and all, come by to enjoy the phenomenal family vibe here; even if you're not from Southern Italy. Don't expect your standard 5 Star Michelin fair here. The portions are huge! Again, plenty for the doggie bag.
