  1. I have driven past this place for years 1000s of times, no exaggeration. Ive never stopped before because there are diners right near my house and by work so this is along the way. So Sunday we decided to try it. The place is small and has a very old school diner decor and feel. There was plenty of parking and no wait so we stayed. I tried the 2 eggs special. This however is the first spot in Jersey Ive noticed grits in the special. Choice of hash browns, homefries or can you believe it, grits. For me, I've eaten grits many times in the south because I was stationed down there and for college, but most of us "Northern" folks are like straight out of scene from My Cousin Vinny asking what is a grit. Anyway I ordered eggs overlight with ham and grits and couldnt have been happier. Kudos to the extra friendly wait staff who kept my coffee hot and full, plus the coffee cups were giant. I found my new spot for breakfast and my only regret is I never have stopped here before. We had 2 breakfasts for under 20 bucks and in a great place. On a side note there were lots of plants on the windowsills that reminded me of my youth at nanas house. See pic. I highly recommend for breakfast.

  2. This is my dad's favorite place to grab breakfast and for good reason, this is what all smalltown North Jersey diners should be like. There is something so disgustingly tacky that makes this place almost overwhelmingly charming. I'm not sure if it's the dated wallpaper, if it's the paper decorations marking the closest holiday splayed across the walls and hung from the ceilings, or if it's the "yummy time" hats worn by the employees and declared as food is brought to the table, but I kind of dig it. I've never had anything but breakfast here so I can't speak on much else except that service is incredibly  friendly, the prices are so unbelievably reasonable, and the food is exactly what it should be for an NJ diner, simple and comforting. Definitely a quality little diner sure to be visited again and again with the pops.

  3. Nice quaint diner. I thought that because of the size and appearance from the outside it would have a limited menu, but they have one as extensive as any diner and the food quality is pretty good. It has a nice homey feel and our server Linda was really friendly. She's been opening and closing the diner for the past few weeks starting at 430am, working a full time job, then closing at night at 10pm and you wouldn't even be able to tell.

  4. Welcome back in time to a world in which….just kidding.

This is an old laid back diner which tries to keep the older type of 50's vibe.
General diner food otherwise, go for the old.

  5. Triangle Diner is small and simple; no frills. Not 24/7. Menu is relatively expansive and standard diner fair.

They have good breakfast which is all I've had. Lots of omelette options and delicious home made waffles.

Service is quick, food is good, place is clean. I see them wiping down the the tables and chairs with clorox and lysol every time I've been here.

Only problem is I think they have a temperature control problem. It's always on the warm side here. Whatever though.
