  1. Restaurant is clean. The staff is courteous and helpful. They play Quran in the background rather loud which in my opinion (and I am Muslim) is not appropriate for a restaurant because people are talking and it is disrespectful to the Quran. As for the food, my friend and I decided to try an authentic Egyptian dish they had. We both had the Hawawshi which is similar to a Middle Eastern pizza. A warning about this dish it is an appetizer size portion definitely not something you should order as a meal. It wasn't filling at all. But it tasted really good. It was spicy and bursting in flavor. I ended my "meal" with baklava which was also good. The prices on the menu looked fair. And my "appetizer"  was only $5.95. I would definitely return for more of a meal.

  2. We walked by and were a little taken aback by the gaudy nature of Tut's Hub (in a good way).   We walked in and they gave us ample samples (brilliant business move), as without these samples we would probably not have stayed.  I had Kushari for the first time and was blown away by how delicious it was.  While savoring every bite, I kept thinking that maybe my people should have taken some Kushari instead of unleavened bread, when they left Egypt in such haste.  We also ordered the house Feteer with everything…that was OK, but not as good (just too much meat).  Next time we will be more selective in picking the fillings in the Feteer.

The staff was very friendly and overall we had a great dinner.

  3. To be honest, I don't know what I got. I asked the nice man to order me the best dish and his favorite and that's what he did. It was perfect. There was melty cheese that reminded me of a quesadilla and some very spicy, both in heat and flavor, sauce that was super soothing to my hungry soul. The decor was amazing and I felt that I was in a much fancier, more novel place, but it's just a good, down-to-earth restaurant.
