We were walking around the city trying to find someplace open on the 4th of July holiday. I was dying to try New York style pizza. This place hit the spot. Thin crust loaded with toppings you'll need to fold to enjoy. The had several choices including vegetarian, even vegan, options.
In addition to friendly, quick service, they offer dipping sauces for 50 cents. The cashier told me to try a Cajun ranch and I wish I had, but we got a jalapeño pesto instead. The pesto was surprisingly mild. Great flavor but not as spicy as I tend to go for.
I should admit here that this was my first time in NYC so I can't speak to authenticity of NY style pizza, but this was yummy. The best slice we had was called "The Newman."

Yay! #Firstreview
I stopped by today to try the famous "V is for Vegan" slice. The crust was nice and thin, and the toppings/flavors were great.
The woman at the cash register was super friendly and I liked the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area!
