God if this was college 5 stars all the way…..
I used to love going here back then, but over the years it's kind of worn off. I still love the deep dish pizza which is so ridiculously good. 2 pieces and you feel like you've gained 75 lbs.
I love the sausage pie here. One of the better franchise places to hit up.
The place is very clean, the staff is very nice and there is usually only a long table wait on movie nights (theater is right next door).
The only problem I may really have with the place now is the menu's calorie count……WOW.
I come here quite often and this was by far my worst experience. It wasn't even that busy yet my server was too slammed to make sure I had sugar with my coffee and it continued from there. I couldn't get her attention and in the end the manager ended up assigning another server.
The brownie from the sundae was as hard as a rock. Inedible.
When I received my bill I was charged for the ziosk games which I had no idea had a cost. So a child can grab it and start playing with it and we would never know there is a cost until the end. Despite my frequenting here I have never been charged for the ziosk games nor do most restaurants charge for little kids to play. Not a happy camper.
It's a damn shame because I use to really like this place. I don't know what the hell happened.
It started off fine. Server seemed like he would be on point and I would have enjoyed my meal…ummm I didn't.
I ordered the steak tips with broccoli, a mistake. The steak was dry and tough and my broccoli was dried from it being obviously microwaved. The server straight disappeared after the food was delivered.
Plates with napkins on them, pushed to the side is the universal sign a diner is done, right? The plates sat for a good 25 minutes until it got dudes attention. I kept waving and waving and he never looked my way.
I finally got his attention and he apologized, gave me the check and I broke the hell out.
Yes, it's my opinion, but this place SUCKS.
I rarely write reviews on large chain restaurants such as Uno but when my friends and I came here for a quick, convenient dinner, we were met with the opposite results. I had to meet them later on the account of coming back from work so when I met up with them, I thought, oh good timing, they haven't gotten their menus yet. It turns out, they've been sitting there for 20 minutes with no waiter/waitress in sight. After having decided on what to get, we waited even longer. We finally had to stop the hostess to ask where the waitress is and she looked a bit harried. She apologized and got our drink orders in the meanwhile. After another 10-15 minutes, the waitress finally shows up. We place our orders – relatively simple orders – pretzel bites as appetizers, two salads, and a veggie burger. I was right next to her so I saw her write everything down but when they brought the food out – the salad given to my friend didn't have tortilla crisps and it looked like it was thrown together haphazardly. She had poorly cut iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, dressing, and chicken to the side. Mind you, it was supposed to be a "chopped" salad but it looked anything but. I got the veggie burger but the plate looked so empty. There was a burger smack in the middle with lots of white space around it. I asked her, I don't get a side with this? Normally burgers or entrees come with sides. She responded halfheartedly, "oh yeah…well, what side would you like?" Well…okay. She also forgot the jalapenos and the cheese for my burger. My other friend was left with nothing. She comes back 10 minutes later with the jalapenos and the cheese but no tortilla crisps and the wrong order for my friend. After my friend pointed it out, she took it back and after another long wait, brought the salad back to her. It was supposed to be a Citrus Grilled Chicken salad but it looked like grilled chicken on top of iceberg lettuce and it tasted nothing of the citrus variety. Not to mention, she brought out the wrong dressing. Man – what a disastrous dinner. We asked for tortilla crisps once again and she brought out tortilla CHIPS. At this point, we gave up and just proceeded to eat our, what is now, an extremely overpriced dinner. When we asked for the check, she came right away and came back in like 30 seconds to collect the credit card. Funny how she was speedy about that part. We flat out said we would pay up front instead of her because knowing her, she'll charge an extra $100 on the bill or something along those lines. This is only the second time in my life when I did not leave a tip. Half the time, the waitress, quite honestly, looked high. She didn't apologize for her errors and she looked like she was just floating along for the ride. She keeps this up and tips will definitely be non-existent for her in the future. We used to come to this restaurant in our high school days but the experience last night forever marred my nostalgia for the place. I will avoid this place like it's cancer. Please don't go here.
