“It's a food court not far from Grand Central and I was excited to try Delaney Chicken but they ran out of CHICKEN!”

“My boyfriend tried a pizza from Roberta's which looked and tasted great, and we both enjoyed some A.B. Biagi gelato as well.”

“That's not to say that Takumi Taco was bad, but if I had to choose between the taco offerings, I'd have to go with No 7 broccoli tacos.”

  1. I LOVE THIS PLACE. If you want to try a little bit of everything NYC has to offer in terms of cuisine – this is your spot!! Toby's Estate Coffee, Dough donuts, Liquiteria, Roberta's, Ovenly, Takumi Taco, Oddfellows Ice Cream, Kuro Obi by Ippudo & more. It was so hard to choose. Friend & I ended up trying out cold brew from Toby's Estate, an horchata donut from Dough, an acai bowl from Liquiteria, and a ramen from Kuro Obi.

Everything was awesome and I loved being able to try out a few things from each place. The space is well lit and there is plenty of seating available. I would definitely recommend stopping by here!

  2. This location is very cool because it houses so many different vendors. I have tried a few so far and I back to try the rest. My favorites so far are Dough and La Palapa Taco Bar! La Palapa has a great taco salad. It was delicious and it was a great portion size. It is a little pricey but most of the vendors are worth it (except the greek food, the meat was fatty and gross).

  3. Whew – this place is crazy during weekday lunchtime. But that could be a good thing because there are so many great options to choose from. A few of my tips:
    – If you order on Caviar, most of the places inside Urban space will deliver.
    – Kuro-Obi has a special menu that is MUCH cheaper  (half price) in the early evening.
    – Happy hour is from 4-7 and and starts at 1pm on Fridays over the summer.

There is something for everyone here, but I suggest getting a friend's food for them while you scour somewhere to sit. In the summer, the dining area can still feel 80 degrees because of all the humans.

Can't go wrong with Dough donuts *they are also right by 1 of the exits for grab N go. Sigmund's offers a free pretzel with beer purchase. And of course Red Hook lobster is fantastic, but expect to throw down $25 and change.

  4. This area is amazing! it reminds me a lot of central market in LA just baby size. theres lots of places to eat inside no matter what youre craving from sushi to tacos to chicken sandwiches. I personally tried the chicken and some tacos and they were excellent. perfect place to come get lunch or dinner.

  5. Cool spot – I've only eaten at the Thai restaurant. It was okay but overall there is a lot of selection here. Lines can get super long at lunch so come early to beat the rush!

  6. Another gourmet food hall in NYC. This and the Plaza Food Hall are my faves. Why? There's Toby's here! Also, it's near Grand Central where I can catch my trains. They have cafeteria style seating.

Red hook lobster, Delaneys, Roberta's, Oddfellows, La Sonrisa, Hai Street Kitchen, etc…..

Lunch time is hella busy though.

  7. This food hall is still going strong, especially with the addition of a few new vendors. Recently I tried the famous burger from Hard Times Sundaes – so good! If you like an old fashioned no-frills burger, you'll love it. This Burger cored high on my burger quest. The squishy potato bun barely holds together by the time you finish devouring it. Grab a lot of napkins, it's a bit of a grease bomb but not in a bad way. Simple but perfect and hits the spot. I also had a rice bowl from Takumi Taco with Sapporo braised shortrib, really yummy. I love bowls because they have a little bit of everything, and this was filling yet refreshing. The Takumi slaw was not bad, a good option if you're trying to get your veggies in.

An iced coffee from Toby's Estate is always a good idea to grab and go when you're walking around in this summer heat!

  8. So far I have only had the empanadas, and the coffee, both of which were very tasty, and I'm looking forward to having more. The place clearly gets very busy at times.
