  1. Giving this 4 stars pretty much for its variety on craft beers. They have numerous kinds of dogfish head. Which is awesome. However, don't let the foil of Queens being cheap fool you. A four pack still cost me $16. That's pretty standard for the type of brew, yes. But STILL. $16! Inserts expletive. Foodtown, in all honesty, slightly cheaper. You still get a fantastic selection on craft ales. This isn't bad though. And when your friends text you. "Go back to store. Need Corona and chips." The cashier surprisingly doesn't think you're an alcoholic for returning 5 minutes later and muttering: "Need more beer."

*Also, note: This is neither located in Long Island City or Sunnyside. It's Astoria, bitches.

  2. This place used to be the only deli with a decent craft beer selection within reasonable walking distance of my boyfriend's apartment. Not gonna lie though, now that there's a Foodtown in the neighborhood the beer selection in these parts has improved greatly…but alas this isn't a Foodtown review…so back to US Brazil Deli & Grocery…

Know what this place has that drives me absolutely batty? Well I'll tell you, PAN DE QUEIJO – they have pan de queijo! I absolutely LIVE for those delicious, cheesy balls of joy!

Sure I could make them myself, but the boy doesn't own a blender and then I have to go run around looking for tapioca flour when I just want a quick fix.

Other items they sell here include Brazilian sodas, juices, dessert snacks, and did  mention beer? Lol. First time I came here and saw some Dogfish Head varieties I was all like, "Whoa!". I mean it's something that you normally see in delis…outside of Williamsburg or Manhattan, haha!

The folks at the register are also pretty friendly and talkative. 4 stars because "Yay! I'm a fan!".

P.S. Yelp has the neighborhood listed incorrectly in their address. No way in hell is this area "Long Island City". It's off the R/M Steinway stop, everyone knows that shizz is ASTORIA. Sheesh.
