This place seems to have changed ownership or management. It used to be really excellent when they first opened. For $8 you got a Sheppard's salad or lentil soup, an appetizer, and an entree for lunch. Now it seems that every time I go there their lunch special is completely different.
I'm surprised to read the previous review of how much they loved this place. I ordered a Falafal and shepards salad and was pretty disappointed.
The actual falafal balls themselves were pretty tasty, but no pita, not much lettuce or veggies with it either. Please do not even let me get into the awful tzatziki- wanna be sauce they served with it! Bleh! I figured I'd give them another chance with the shepards salad, and there was way too much parsley in it and no feta cheese….NO FETA CHEESE!!!!
Across the street there is a much better Turkish restaurant with better prices. This place is cute, the service was friendly, but I was not impressed having gone to a few Turkish places that have been way better.
Plus the only and first reviewer to this place has ironically only reviewed this place and that's it. Hmmm…suscpicious, I think so.
