It was so cool to see this truck parked on 1st ave, that I had to stop and get my second iced coffee of the day.

-Straws, napkins, and covers are kept on a little ledge outside of the truck. Everything was sort of dirty, dusty, and picked over.
Probably the best ice cream I've had, super creamy, dense, and rich with outstanding flavors.
I got their earl gray and mint chocolate chip- both excellent! The intensity of the tea flavor, without the bitterness, was just so tasty, and the mint chocolate chip (white mint ice cream with square chunks of chocolate) is my favorite kind. My friends also got their ginger flavors- we went back here twice over the weekend, in the storming rain, just to get this stuff again.
Can't get over how good this ice cream is. Tried it years ago when i was visiting new york. Loved the pistachio and this time around, got the ginger which was DIVINE. I like ginger but don't LOVE IT. But the ginger flavored ice cream is soooo good. Not overwhelming AT ALL. Subtle but still very flavorful? HOW DO THEY DO IT? so good. SO GOOD. find the truck, then order the ginger and thank me later
Overrated, overpriced ice cream. It's all about the fancy branding and hipster appeal.
Such flavorful simple ingredients with complex flavor. Loved both the vegan and regular mint chip. The cones are so fresh they literally break as the ice cream melts. Cant wait to try other flavors. Since the truck isnt always around you can buy it at gormet garage by the pint.
The greatest mint chip ice cream ever.
Mediocre coffee.
Sweet employee, quick service.
It was a nice day outside and I was in the flatiron area and spotted this ice cream truck. At first I wanted hazelnut and the server who seemed to be more interested in texting on her blackberry informed me that they were out of hazelnut and several other flavors because they were out of season. The way she said was so snappy and holier than thou and in my head I was like REALLY? In spite of her rufeness, I decided on mint chip. However after letting go of almost 4 dollars for a small cup I really wasn't satisfied with the quality. The mint chip tasted old and there were pieces of ice in it. Maybe I'll try it again if the servers are friendlier and quality is better. Somehow Haagen Dazs still wins the game here. Even if your ice cream is locally sourced and organic it doesn't make a difference if you don't keep it fresh!
Had the ice cream here a couple of times. I've tried strawberry, pistachio and the cream and currant flavors. Small portion – 2 scoops and you can choose 2 flavors. This truck was parked outside of the Bleecker St Coach stores both times I encountered it.
Only con – one person manning the truck makes for a longer wait which makes you think twice about eating ice cream in February! Also, the flavors and on a large sticker on the truck so when they are out of a certain flavor, it can be confusing what the choices remain.
