  1. Standard diner fare. Their waffle is better than the pancakes. The omelettes are good and the portions are substantial. Friendly staff as well and it's a good old standby. No credit card minimum or delivery charges.

  2. Ate here once  The Village diner is ok. The food is ok. You don't need to fly across the planet for this place. It's an ok local diner.

  3. i dont know how much more i can love on village diner. I love them. I woke up. was hungry. went to the diner and fed my face.
I love their breakfast sausage and their homefries. it makes me happy every time. Their coffee is great too!
My only beef with them is they are not open 24 hrs. I think they are open from 7a – 10p… if this place was 24/7 I think id be here all the time. (more than i already am)

  4. This is your typical greek diner. Ordered a Gyro Platter and they did not bring the tahini sauce. Wait service was good.

  5. Came here once for brunch. The food was good and the waitress was friendly (even though she had an accent that was hard to understand).

  6. Village Diner is a rather unassuming establishment. It doesn't strike you as a diner from the outside, but the second you walk through its doors, its humble decor rings resonant.

You don't come here to be wowed by gourmet food. You come here to rest your weary tush and fill up on some standard fare. Portions are fair and prices are typical. Service is somewhat indifferent but you get your food rather fast (depending on what you order, I suppose). They only had one booth that could seat more than four people from what I surveyed, but don't expect to wait for a seat if your party is less than 5.

  7. Came here after a long walk in Forest Park. Server was really nice. Food was okay and comparable to most diners in the area.
