In typical fashion I ordered a regular slice as a barometer of future orders (or not) to come. My first bite rang the alarm bells of scolding hot cheese burning the roof of my mouth, I could feel my skin sizzling. But the taste of the cheese and sauce upon the amazing thin crust, forced me to keep biting more and more. Delicious–Ouch… Scrumptious–Ouch!–Burning sensation–Actual Burn of my skin..
The pain of the hot slices damage did not keep me from using any idea I could muster, talking to the slice "Please Mr. Pizza Slice, pleeease cool down", but it never yielded so I took it outside and continued my conversation.
This was perhaps one of the best slices of pizza I have ever eaten to date, it would have to killed me for me to not consume it.

Zeppoles were San Genaro Feast quality, powdered sugared appropriate and not dough balls that sit in your tummy like a led zeppelin. The three for a dollar potato croquettes looked delicious.
Thirty five menu items is so nice o see, as it is more traditional than offering the hundred items that seem to have become more prevalent over the past ten years.
This institution has been around for 40 years, but the owner has changed more than once.
I can't say for the pizza but the eggplant parm was ok. Soggy eggplant with a great marinara sauce and crispy bread. The baked ziti was also acceptable: good sauce, overcooked ziti and good amount of cheese on top.
An acceptable meal, this is.
Something to tell your mama about, it is not.
Food is okay, affordable, right by the subway. I wish the owner would wash his hands or put on gloves between making pizzas and handling money. The entrees of pasta and sandwiches from the kitchen are pretty good.
I knew I could depend on Brooklyn for good pizza.
