  1. I haven't been to Vincenzo's in ages but it was always my go to pizza parlour in the neighborhood. I don't usually eat pizza much for dinner because I sometimes have it for lunch while at work (in Long Island… thumbs down pretty much on the pizza there)! I'm so glad I stopped in recently cause I forgot what I was missing… DAMN good pizza!!

My experience with the service was a wee bit strange… I walked up to the counter (the place was redone since my last visit) & scanned the slices deciding what to try. There's a decent variety of pizza to choose from. Anyway, the girl behind the register just stayed over by the register in the corner. One guy was making a pie & another guy was next to him talking. So I waited… & waited… & then another customer walked in nearer to the register & asked the girl a question about one of the slices. He then placed his order & I was like …ummmm… HELLO… The guy apologized but I told him not to worry. It wasn't his fault (that the girl flat out paid me no mind). I wonder what she thought I was standing there for?? Jeez… Anyway, I took a plain slice & a tomato slice to go. Well… the pizza was slammin' good!! Crust not too thick, not too thin. Had a nice crispy texture! Sauce & cheese, right on the money! The pizza here represents pretty much what a good New York slice should taste like!! Feeling sorry I missed it for so long…

  2. This is a nice neighborhood joint who is quite possibly alive only because of their unbeatable prices! Got the large all veggies pizza, and while he heaped on the toppings, the crust got soggy… boohoo =(. However, when I got a regular cheese pizza, I was quite satisfied (and so was my wallet!).

  3. Probably the best pizza place in Queens!  It's not much on the inside, it's kind of plain and run down looking, but the pizza is delicious, the service is always great, and their dinner menu is really good.  The baked ziti and meatball parm hero are definitely my go to entrees.  I've never had a bad experience.  The portions are big and the delivery is always quick and the food is always fresh out of the oven.  They have great prices and some good weekly dinner specials too.

  4. I LOVE VINCENZO'S! Omg. When I was going to St. John's, I remember being broke and taking advantage of their dollar slices. Thank you, Vincenzo's, for allowing broke ass college students to eat something besides the nasty dining hall food.
Anyways, their pizza slices are massive and filling. They have different toppings on each of them…some of my favorites include the one with pasta on top and the BBQ chicken one. They're not the friendliest workers and it's not the cleanest place, but who cares. It's New York and amazing pizza. If you're around the area, definitely try this place out. You will not be disappointed.

  5. Maybe its because I haven't tried enough of the foods here but I haven't encountered anything spectacular.  Its regular pizza and pasta and that's all one can expect.

The main drive to go back every time would may just be the convenience next to St. John's and it's $1.25 per slice on Wednesdays and Fridays.  So $10 for a regular pie isn't bad but that's all I can probably say about it.

  6. Whenever I come to this place, the service is always great. The lady that works behind the counter is always very friendly. Their regular pizza is good, but nothing that screams come back for me. I come for the regular slices on Wednesdays when they have their $1.25 pizza slice deal. Being a St. John's student it's very easy to just walk across the street and fill up since I'm on a college budget. What I do love about this place is that whenever I get a sausage slice, they give A LOT of sausage unlike other places that'll just put like three pieces of sausage on it, lame. Also they have a very good chicken Caesar Salad pizza. So I recommend the sausage or the chicken Caesar Salad slice. I haven't really tried anything else from this place, but sooner or later I will.

  7. Typical pizza place. The pizza was crispy and warm. I called in 15 minutes before I went to pick up the two pies. When I got there, the pies were ready, the person that greeted me was nice. I have nothing bad to say about it but the pizza wasn't so special. I'll go and try the other things they have though!

  8. Stopped by for lunch and was greeted by very kind staff. The pizza was excellent. Fresh and cheesy just the way I like it. I was also craving buffalo wings, and the wings here definitely hit the spot; comes nicely on a tray with a blue cheese. I love that there are SO many menu options to choose from. From sandwiches to pastas..they really have it all! I would definitely recommend to stop by for your next pizza craving!
