  1. THIS PLACE IS SOOO CASH

I dont know how to explain how good pizza could possibly be until I have experienced it at Vinnie's. You DO NOT eat pizza at Vinnie's .. you experience it all over again..for the first time.

The selection of pizza slices here can boggle your freaking mind/tastebuds into some sort of mindf*** while you are trying to decide what to have. The staff here is so nice they always throw in free garlic knots if they feel the slice i bought was "too small" … which is a lot of the times apparently because I keep getting free knots..

They have these custom desserts there also.. you have to check for them.. moon pies and stuff… omg

I ride my bicycle  4.4 miles from jackson heights just to eat this pizza because jackson heights does not compare.

  2. Enhancing the customer experience at a pizza joint, what a novel concept!

There is no such thing as bad pizza, and this pizza is really good. If you like a cracker-crust NY style slice, I highly recommend Vinnie's. Good toppings, not greasy, and served up by a really friendly staff. If I wasn't going to have to speak to anyone, I woulda got some of the McGolrick knots, mos def, but seeing as how garlic Godzilla breath is off-putting, I abstained, just for this visit.

The guys here actually seem to enjoy their jobs and to be having a good time, and so was everyone who came by for some of their 'za or heroes on this particular Friday evening.

Next time I'm hungry and in the neighborhood, I'll be back.

  3. I really really really love this place. I've never set foot into the actual brick and mortar restaurant, but I order from here about once a month or so. I keep it to once a month so that I won't gain 500000 pounds from partaking in their amazing pizzas.

This place has amazing vegan pizzas. I'm a huge fan of their vegan mac attack pizza, which is like a vegan version of Hamburger Helper on top of a pizza crust. I'm also a fan of their vegan T. Hanks pie. Delivery has always been super prompt for me and the delivery people have always been really nice.

Though I'm not a vegan, I have yet to try any of their regular pies. Will do so the next time I order from here.

  4. Best order in pizza in greenpoint area. Good speciality slices. Once I got a buffalo pie though and I was really dissatisfied by the lack of cheese, sauce, and chicken on it. Was not a hearty pie and sort of bare.

  5. This remains my favorite place to get a slice in the city.  The menu us creative, the value is fairly high and the staff is always helpful and friendly.

I always recommend sampling the slice of the day or one of the other eclectic creations toward the right of the case.

There are many vegan options in store as well and I've never been disappointed with any of them.

  6. This order was picked up.  It took a good amount of time for the order to arrive, but it was a Saturday night so I give them a slight pass.

Five cheese pizzas, four orders of wings, and two orders of garlic knots were ordered.

The pizza was solid.  It was cooked just right and the sauce was to my liking.  However, the crust was a little thick and took up too much of the pizza.

The wings were much better than I thought.  By just looking at them, they looked very plain.  They gave a side of hot sauce so I thought that was going to implement the spice.  That was not the case.  The wings had a nice little kick to them without the use of the hot sauce.  There was not much meat, but the flavor was exceptional.

The garlic knots were bland and hard.  They did not have a garlic taste and seemed to be cooked too long.  It was a disappointing side dish.

Will I go back? Yeah no doubt.  Solid pizza spot.

  7. So I came here at about 1am after a party. I was so happy when I found out they were open until 3am that friday night.. It was a drunken girls' miracle! Anyways, I ordered the vegan wings for some odd reason since I came here for my pizza craving, and it came with some kind of cheese/tomato sauce bun type of thing. I think that is why I got it, because it was 3 wings and a free cheese thing so I guess at the time that was a very appealing offer. My friend got the Eggplant Parm slice and I tried it. It was so delicious! I kept taking all of the eggplant pieces off which I probably should apologize to her for but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The wings were also great but I dropped one in the cab. I was a happy camper for I was enjoying my food.. Cab driver– not so much. I really did love everything we got. Maybe it was a combination of my altered tastebuds or the fact that I had not eaten for 5 hours, but I guess I will just have to come again!

  8. Vinnieeeeeees!!! Noooooo! I miss you so much already (and I even packed a slice for the drive back, which means I'm going into fierce withdrawal only 6 hours after last ingestion).

Is it wrong that I said this place is good for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? Three square meals from Vinnie's per day. That's what I want.

I don't even know where to start. Up until close they have a great selection of slices (the avocado mozzarella something something is so far my favorite). Everything from classic pepperoni to topping combinations that make your head tilt and your mouth water from curiosity.

The cheeses are tasty (feta, fresh mozzarella, cheddar, just to name a few). The toppings are fresh (tomatoes and spinach and chicken, oh my!). The crust is thin but flavorful and not burnt. Lots of vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options, too. Large slices for very reasonable prices. Heated up in the oven right before your hungry eyes.

Pretty good selection of beverages. They have my all-time favorite Reed's Ginger Brew so I'm a satisfied customer.

Friendly peoples. Delivery by bike. Most of the time some rockin' tunes in store. And a fair cross-section of customers. For those of us cursed with a teeny tiny bladder, there is no bathroom in store but you can use the one across the street in the back of the laundromat.

Since I'm a nocturnal animal who eats her dinner at around midnight, I only wish they were open later. But hey, it's their steez and I will definitely not complain since during business hours, they seduce me with their tastiness and fill up my tummy nice and proper.

God dammit. Now I'm hungry. Do you think they deliver halfway across the country?
