I love Roast Pork buns.  They are a secret addiction.

The buns here are great.  They use a different type of dough compared to the usual white wrapping most roast pork buns come in.

They also had curry chicken and beef rolls.
The curry chicken was great and I will try the beef another time.

The setup of the place is nice and the owner was very friendly.

If you like coconut, then come here for their Coconut Pudding. I really wanted to like this place as a whole, but I tried, and tried again, and just cant. Come here for that and nothing else. 3 stars strictly for their cleanliness and the Coconut Pudding.

Violet's Bake Shop has really really amazing coconut pudding cut into well portioned squares for $2.00 a piece. The pudding is a little heavier than the ones found at dim sum, but has a much stronger coconut taste and a more satisfying creamy consistency. Everything else tho? Sort of a fail. Portugese Egg Tarts are totally lacking. Initially I thought it was just the crust that was lacking. Gave the tarts a second try and the filling the second time around tasted a bit like sweetened rubber.. hmm. Bread here is dry and not fluffy. Another simple word for it is stale. German Cheesecake was horrible. Tasted like heavy cream + generic brand cream cheese all in all. So with the Coconut Pudding being the only thing I would call good here, I wouldn't even waste my $ on their overpriced drinks.

A small modern Chinese bakery that comprises all Western influences as the awing and business card has the appeal of a modern Lo Fan bakery.  I have a small addiction to 蛋 撻 daan6 taat3*1 (Egg custard tart) which I desired while in the passing of Forest Hills.  Upon entering there were three people waiting to be served as we all stood there while two Chinese women were chit chatting in Cantonese Chinese with their backs towards customers or disputing instructions about how to bake Cha Siu bao (Chinese roast pork buns).  Two people departed after being ignored and were non-existent invisible by the staff and I immediately followed suit and also left the premises.

Seating is very minimal and there appears very little baked options compared with typical Chinese bakeries.
