  1. Coffee and cappuccino as an experience

Given with small cup of sparkling seltzer for your before and after pallet cleansing mmmm because drinking perfect cup of Capp is …a ritual Lolol 😉

Jk aside, what a cute spot with great coffee. Few selection of pastries but not elaborate. Mmmm

  2. Today's items are the sold out Colombia La Esmeralda and the available Colombia La Morelia. I had the latter in an Americano with milk ($3.50) in it. While I've a caffeine headache to most coffees, this clean and carefully prepared drink is just so good for me. I also had the chocolate caramel macaroon ($2.50). Another great experience.

  3. The baristas are super friendly, which is exactly what you need in the morning. I really love the decor here. It's uniquely positioned within the subway station but in stark contrast has a very chic, minimalistic design. There's the coffee bar out front and then a small back room with couches and one small round table.

I ordered the hot chocolate, which came in a flask on a marble plate, which was definitely one of the most creative presentations I've seen. It was very good-rich and flavorful but not too sweet. I usually feel extremely sugared out after hot chocolate but this one was well balanced!

Seems like a great place to stop by and grab something as you're coming out the subway. Sitting down inside though is the way to do it because it's a real treat!

  4. Love the Australian hot chocolate and enjoyed the latte. Very comfortable place with great lighting, seating area, wifi, and outlets. The barista is quite amicable.

Conveniently located outside the John St 2 & 3 MTA entrance.

    Love this place!

  5. Best coffee in New York.

This place is hard to find unless you're "in"; I walked into 110 William St and asked the reception desk where to find Voyager. Walking in is like finding a tiny speakeasy. The friendly and professional servers, beautiful classy setting, and high-quality professionals who make up the clientele are worth a visit.

But what truly gives this place deity status is the coffee itself. In my years of exploring hipster bars across the Americas, I've never found such perfection in an Americano. My Ethiopian espresso had no bitterness or acidity, only pure beauty, served in a simple cup on a marble slab alongside a shot of carbonated water.

I found the environment ideal for what I needed: a quiet, nearly-empty, non-distracting spot to write. Customers popped in and out all day, but one at a time and pretty quietly, none of them sitting down to stay for more than a minute (except me). I highly recommend this place as a quiet nook.

But more than that, it's the place to get the best coffee in the city.
