  1. Guys, seriously this place is a hidden gem in Flatbush. Came here today for lunch randomly and had a super solid meal. They have a huge menu with Thai, Japanese, and Chinese options. Some people will say this makes it inauthentic but I say if you can really deliver on each cuisine, the more the merrier. I had shrimp massaman curry which came with salad and rice, and a Philadelphia roll.

Shrimp curry: amazing rich flavors, a subtle spice and notes of mint. Shrimp well cooked. Nice plating.

Salad: pretty basic not much to it

Roll: not as neat as the Thai curry but still fresh and tasty.

Only fault would be a few things on the service- didn't get water until I had to ask for it halfway through meal. They didn't bring out chopsticks with sushi. I will forgive because I came at a weird time during the day (3pm). Maybe takeout is the best option? Regardless, great to have a solid sushi and Thai place in Flatbush which can sometimes seem like all Caribbean and fried chicken. Will definitely come back.

  2. Hands down one of my favorite sushi spots in the area. I always get the Thai sweet chili wings and the shrimp tempura which are always amazing and then I try something different when it comes to my entree.

I can't give them 5 stars mainly because of their in-person attitudes and the fact that the entree isn't always amazing. I got the chicken pad Thai this last time and it was just alright.

I feel like they really should just narrow the menu down to what they do best. Their teriyaki boxes and specific other dishes are good but having a Chinese menu AND a Thai menu as well as a sushi menu is really overwhelming which leads the food to sometimes be underwhelming.

HOWEVER I do suggest you give it a shot. I found them first on seamless and have been ordering from here at least 2-3x a month ever since.

  3. New "Thai" joint in the hood…I say this in qoutations because it's a Thai restaurant with Chinese owners and staff. Because of that, there is a different taste in the food. It's not bad, it's not good.

I wouldn't go crazy here an order any old thing thinking it would be great, no. It won't be getting the most authentic Thai dish on here, no. If you keep it simple, you might not be disappointed.

The pad thai is ok. It's noting to write home about, but it's consistent, not like A.M. Thai, which has been so so lately. The Thai iced tea is a standard affair and really yummy. I would skip the Thai salad, the peanut dressing wasn't good.

It's a good addition to the neighborhood and I'm not sure if I would try their sushi, but if you like a little something different, try them at least once.

  4. The disrespect here is unbearable. I came here for the second time, in person, to get something and the staff was extremely rude to me as well as other customers that were in there before me.

I'm going to need some of these establishments, specifically the ones that are new to communities of color like Indian and Japanese Restaurants (let's be honest they did not exist here before gentrification) to stop being rude to their minority customers. I am starting to see a patten here and it's damn rude. I don't suggest this place.
