I've been a loyal CVS pharmacy patron for a long time, so after this review, you can just go ahead and refer to me as Benedict Arnold. I filled two scripts here yesterday and have never had such a pleasant and speedy experience in my life.
Last night, I was passing Walgreens and decided to drop in because I didn't feel like going out of my way to CVS. I was greeted by a very nice and cheerful pharmacist named Leonora. She asked for my insurance card, and I realized I had left it in my other wallet at home. I was ready to drive home to get it, but Leonora assured me that she could just get my insurance info by calling them and giving them my name and date of birth. It was so nice of her to go out of her way to do this without me even asking, and it saved me a trip. I thanked her and then waited around for my script to be filled. While doing so, I heard her interacting with other patients, and she was so extremely kind and helpful to each one. She answered their questions about various medications very thoroughly and seemed to really care about them as people, rather than just seeing them as a dollar sign. Before I knew it, my scripts were filled and I was a happy camper on my way home.
Seriously, if you live in the area, I highly recommend this pharmacy. If only all pharmacists were like Leonora, the world would be a better place.
Side note, the store itself is also very nice. It's large, clean, and has fully stocked shelves. The cashier I interacted with was helpful and nice when I was looking around for a phone charger.
What a messy Walgreens. It is really cluttered but the location is convenient and you can always find metered parking.
The clerks can use some customer service skills and the wait for a cashier can be long.
