This Walgreens is, by far, the worst pharmacy on an Island full of bad pharmacies. Every time my wife or I attempt to have a prescription filled here there is some kind of issue. They either don't have the correct drug (and none of our prescriptions were anything exotic) or they don't have enough of it to fill the full amount and you have to make several trips. The last straw came a few weeks ago when I attempted to fill my wife's prescription. Our doctor sent it to this cesspool of pharmacology electronically on a Friday morning. Several hours later we still hadn't received word from Walgreens that it was ready for pick up. I called and was told by the tech the medication wasn't in stock (shocker) and would be delivered first thing Monday. By Monday afternoon, we still hadn't heard from them, so I called back and was told they don't make the drug and our doc would have to prescribe something different. It's beyond me that they weren't able to figure that out on Friday, leaving my wife without her medication for three days. Long story short, the medication she needed is still manufactured, it had just not been shipped to the store until Tuesday. These people are completely clueless.
I called Walgreen's corp to let them know what a disaster this place is. A few days later I received a call back from a woman who claimed to be the head pharmacist at this location. She had a very thick and intelligible accent, so trying to get any information from her was next to impossible. Although it's convenient to my house, this Walgreens is not worth the aggravation. I'll take my business to one of the 5000 other pharmacies on every other corner of this island.
