The name alone suggests that it might be fancy, but unlike its fancy cross-the-street neighbor Cirpriani's, this is a lunchtime joint that cranks out all of the regular deli items most other places in the area have as well.
Though it looks tiny on the outside, there is in fact a lot more room creatively tucked away in the back and on the side. Seating is super cramped still, though most will just be there to eat and run. While Wall Street is composed of mainly business folk, the occasional tourist will come strolling in here on occasion, admiring the array of pizza slices, salads, combo platters, paninis, and baked goods.
Credit card minimums are at $7.00 and using a CC may slow down the lines during peak times. In the end, the service wins and the food does as well. Of all of the deli places along Wall Street, this one is worth multiple visits for the consistently solid deli fare.
