This place is not great. I had a meat lovers and Hawaiian slice ($6 total). The crust was soggy and could barley be held under its own weight. The toppings were a bit burnt. The sauce and cheese were okay. The meat lovers had stringy bacon, old pepperoni, and some sausage. The Hawaiian had big chunks of ham and pineapple. Nothing was great but nothing was that bad either.

  2. Was looking for a go-to dollar slice place near my apartment for late night snacking, and this is definitely not the spot. First of all, the pizza is $1.50 and does not have any sauce. And they burn the pizza! The people working there are super unattentive, its not that hard to heat up a piece of pizza in the toaster oven w/o burning it. Need reccomendations for better $ slices in this neighborhood!

  3. $1.50 for a plain slice is fine for a casual snack, but when you add a topping, it's no longer competitive in terms of price or flavor or quality or quantity — for $3.50, a combo slice here is half the size as anywhere else in the neighborhood, and just not as good… But they are open late!

  4. Having pizza, rotisserie chicken and bubble tea under one roof isn't the sort of setup that would draw me in, but I was in a chicken mood so I checked it out.

The chicken/rice and beans combo was solid if not groundbreaking. With an eye on the global economy, it's nice to get this much food for $7. The chicken was juicy but unfortunately it wasn't entirely featherless.

The hours are bar-friendly, especially on weekends.

  5. Late night, sleepy FiDi goes to bed early like a suburb (shame), I am hungry, nothing open. Walk in, can tell it's a gross cheap pizza place, but ask if maybe the Jamaican jerk chicken or whatever is still available, rude employee with a blank expression shakes his head no, not uttering a word. Then I ask about pizza, and although there's pizza on the counter, even so, he just stares at me without uttering a word, not answering my question, and I finally wind up getting two medicore sub-par plain slices. I didn't even say thank you, guy was such a d-bag. I should have walked out. I do not recommend.

  6. not bad. dunno why the hate. looks like the same owners as Roll and go or joey pepperoni's/

$1.50 per slice. not bad at all. My coworkers had it and they enjoyed it and have been back, so it must be okay, right?

I went with the half chicken (all dark meat), rice + beans, and salad. i'd say it's probably the cheapest and most filling meal you can get in this area for under $9.
