This is one of the worst Wendy's that I have ever been to. The dining area is usually a mess and drive through orders are wrong every other time. However, this is just typical for a fast food place on Long Island.
Hey, I realize this is not a five-star restaurant or anything but on the rudeness scale, this Wendy's surely breaks the ticker on the scale. I needed a quick bite so I swung through the drive through. As I paid, the man at window # 1 dropped my change outside the window and proceeded to say "it's only five cents." What?! Second window I was not greeted with a hello or even a smile. I am disgusted by the lack of customer service here. Not like it matters, but like I said in my previous review, I will not be coming to this Wendy's anytime soon.
My wife and I stopped in here for a quick bite to eat tonight. First let me start off with the positive. The line went quick and they got our order right. That is about where all the positives ended. The staff was not really that personable and were quick to hand me our drink and food while in mid conversation with one another. They didn't acknowledge us at all. While normally this wouldn't bother me that much, it did here. When I go into a store and spend money is it too much to ask for a simple greeting and acknowledgment? As for the food, our fries were severely under cooked and just north of raw. The chicken sandwich was a little dry for my taste as well. Definitely suggest trying out a different location.
I like to play a little game when I go through the drive-thru here. I order my food in a cheerful tone, I am sure to say please and thank you with said order, and when I proceed to the pick-up window I try really hard to make eye contact and say thank you and have a nice day. I keep losing, because I haven't been able to make eye contact once! No but seriously, the guy who works the pick-up window tends to shove the food through the window while looking away and continuing with the next order – never acknowledging the human in front of him. It's a shame really. Also inside they do a terrible job keeping on top of wiping down the tables and such, so often you're unable to sit and eat. They likely spent a lot of money on that renovation a couple years back, but I doubt they've seen a return on it!
