  1. Wendy's located near Washington Square, the line took a while and the chili wasn't quite hot, nor filled to where I'd expect chili to be filled to. The food was otherwise pretty normal for a Wendy's, but the service was a step down from others (hence 2 stars).

  2. Pretty average for a fast food restaurant. Food was average heat. Service was rushed and lacked a smile. Retrieving my food was an adventure; they call it out and hope you hear it. They have lots of seating including a downstairs area.  The restaurant is well lit and fairly clean. They have tvs in the dining area to watch while you eat. The line moves fairly quick.

  3. Why is the bathroom in the dungeon? Where are the straws? The napkins? Why is this roped off line preventing me from making my way to the register on this slow day? I was kinda pissed to know that they still carried my favorite monterey jack ranch chicken sandwich AFTER I paid $10 for food. I hate eating out in NYC. I wonder if people know it's not NORMAL to pay $10 for lunch… I guess many people don't leave NYC to know that. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed my lunch but it's Wendy's… I had the spicy crispy chicken meal and had to pay extra for the strawberry lemonade for whatever reason. It ain't fresh. It's full of chemicals like the rest of them drinks.

  4. For the record, when I dine at fast food establishments I am either:
    1) very drunk
    2) very broke
    3) very desperate (see first two points)
    4) very stupid
Its likely my stupidty that wins every single time regardless if I am drunk, hungry, or broke. But every single time I go in with the same mindset.
"I will order Chicken and everything will be okay"
    But its not okay.
The burgers at fast food joints make my stomach turn, but sometimes I succumb to the subliminal need to punish myself and i walk in to the joint and proceed to dig my own grave.
The chicken nuggets. The chicken Sandwich. The frosty. They all make me yearn for them. They are filled with the things that make you so happy as you are eating them, so miserable an hour later, and then the next day your mind is totally wiped of the incident hours earlier where you begged your roommate to kill you because the stomach pain was so bad.
I have a love/hate relationship with that cute little Wendy.
And why do those fries taste so good in the frosty?
    WHY???

  5. This might sound weird and given the reviews, am sure it's probably not consistent but I got the best chili and baked potato with cheese and bacon I've ever gotten from Wendy's here (even better than some non chain places I've been to). Both were super hot with the right texture and flavor. I came at night so there weren't many people here, needless to say there was no line, plenty of seating, and the service was fine. The tables were clean and it was a decent inexpensive meal. If every Wendy's was like this I'd probably drop by more than a few times a year. The only thing I thought was odd was the cheese and bacon baked potato wasn't on the menu (only the sour cream and chive).

  6. – no matter what hour, there's always a line
    – recommend big bacon classic (it's not on the menu, its the deluxe version of their junior bacon cheeseburger), large chili, small fries
    – I happen to think Wendy's is pretty great as far as fast food goes, its right up there with In n Out, unfortunately, to get a double double you'll have to catch a flight out to the west coast.
    – avoid baconator, as unhealthy as it sounds = tasty, in reality it's actually one of the blandest burgers I've ever tasted

  7. This Wendy's is very busy as most things in the area.  They do a great job at managing the queues quickly and there is ample seating for greats and individuals like myself, who just want to sit and be unbothered on their lunch break.  I don't really like giving reviews on fast food restaurants in the city because there's not much to say.  I do think their cashier staff is a little bit more chill than other typical fast food establishments that I venture too in the SoHo/NoHo/Chinatown/Little Italy/Tribeca (think I covered all locales near my job) area.  Chill as in they aren't rude, not particularly friendly, just chill and I'm very ok with that.  The food is as it should be.  The prices here are typically more expensive than other locations.  However at the time of this review there is a 4 for $4 deal going for nuggets, a jr. bacon cheeseburger, small fry, and drink.  It's funny because everywhere else in the U.S. this isn't a special deal, it's just the standard menu price.  But for NYC, it's nice to finally have the option to pay a standard price.
