I've been coming here for years and I'm happy to report that the building has received a well earned makeover! Yes, the building looks great. I moved away from Nassau and haven't been to West End for awhile. I was in Hempstead for work and went to check it out. I must say it has come a long way. Don't get me wrong, the place has always been awesome! But know it looks as worthy as its service. The staff is as I remembered, nice and with fast service. There is alway a line when you walk in so expect a wait. They offer so many great choices on food as well as large selections with drinks. They have healthy fresh food too, as well as a good sandwich. I love, love, love, the egg salad they sell. I get a little bit every time I go to eat with my sandwich. If your a fan of egg salad try it out. I wish I was still close to this deli so I could get a my favorite, turkey and cheddar melt, hmmmmmmm, cheddar. Go and see what years of hard work has accomplished. West End Deli is the spot to shop.
