This is very simple — go to the Westchester Burger in White Plains. It has the same menu, but the food always tastes better there. For example, one of my favorite items is the Salmon Burger. It is a whole piece of salmon with slaw, tomato, etc. on a bun. Every time that I had it in White Plains, it was tasty, hot and perfectly cooked. Here, it seems to be always overcooked and cold.
I did get great service from Gina. I think that she is trying to make up for the other servers mentioned in other reviews. She was friendly and helpful. She made recommendations and even offered to let us try substitutions at no cost. So, I appreciate her effort.
Lots of burgers! Stopped in on our way home from philly to ct. We were exhausted and starving and felt like a burger. Hostess was no where to be found when we arrived but appeared a couple minutes later and was wicked rude. Not a great start. We were seated in a large dining area and only waited a couple minutes til the waitress arrived. Ordered 2 root beers as we had imbibed too much all weekend. She brought ice cold glasses, nice touch. I had the Napa burger Med rare which was delicious and my honey had the firehouse burger medium which he said was Meh and a little dry. French fries were good. Server was a little pushy and thought she was being cute but she was just being annoying. If not so tired or full would have loved to try a milkshake.
Awesome veggie burger and great time watching the Blackhawks game. My Tex-Mex Burger with veggie patty was great. The tortilla chips in the burger were awesome; giving it a nice crisp. Good flavor and decent veggie patty. I didn't ask for it, but they put in a double patty, which gave my sandwich some girth. The fries were also good. Service was fine and the restaurant was nice. Wish they didn't close up at 10pm, because we all had to rush back to our hotels to watch the last period of the hawks game. I'd definitely come back though.
Review is for take-out. Food came quick and hot. Ordered the greenhouse-veggie burger with onion rings and truffled parm fries. The patty was a pea, carrot, oat base. Slightly sweet and savory pan fried. The burger came with two patties- too much for me to finish. It also came with a genius portion of guac, arugala with a balsamic drizzle. Really tasty all together.
Onion rings were tasty and came with a delicious spicy cream sauce. The truffle fries were awesome!
Will be ordering again from here!
First impression wasn't very good. We came in on a slow afternoon and waited to be seated… even though the bartender clearly saw us, ignored us and continued flirting with this guy. Hostess finally showed up out of nowhere and seated us. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive.
Food:
Onion rings – crispy and very good
Fried calamari & shrimp – okay. Not a fan of the dipping sauces provided
Chicken Caesar salad – huge portion and the dressing was good
Burgers – they were huge!!! I ate half and it was very filling. It's not the best burger I've had and I thought that it was a bit pricey… I guess I had high expectations from the place since my coworkers were all raving about. it.
Came for lunch and sat in the bar area.
Friendly and pretty quick service, prices are a little on the high side but the burgers are huge. And delicious.
I got the Graziella burger which was out of this world and cooked perfectly medium rare. Nice portion of fries on the sound to round it out.
Nice beer selection.
Will definitely be back!
We met a larger group of friends here for brunch/lunch on a Sunday, and they were super accommodating and attentive. I had the Pretzel burger and it was well-cooked and tasty. My husband had the lemon pancakes and really enjoyed them. We had a good experience at Westchester Burger in Rye Brook.
Tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago. When we first arrived no one was standing at the desk to greet us and let us know the status of the table which I found a little odd. Once the hostess finally came over we were seated pretty fast. The layout of the restaurant is petty spacious and the waiter was pretty good.
The BBQ wing appetizer was great, crispy wings with a good amount of meat on them. Very tasty. The burger I decided to try was called the entourage. Which was terrible. Way to much bread for my liking. There were two slice of bread on top with cheese in the middle then the burger then two more slices of bread on the bottom with cheese in the middle. Huge burger which lacked flavor. I would avoid this burger at all cost.
Wanted this place to be good but it just didn't do it for me.
