Didn't have a bad experience when I was here earlier this evening with the family.
Our waiter was cool and attentive throughout our dining experience. The meal portions were HUGE.
I had the Balsamic Pork Chops which came with mashed potatoes (see picture). That came with a choice of soup, salad, and dessert.
Five minutes after my family and I placed our orders, the food immediately came right out, which was much quicker than I thought. The complimentary bread basket which came out as well was hot and fresh, and was perfect for dipping in the soup. Crackers came with that as well.
Here's what I had:
Chicken Noodle Soup: HOT and tasty, and perfect for dipping of bread and crackers.
Plain Salad with Croutons: Tasted fresh.
Balsamic Pork Chops: Those were huge, and tasted great! The mashed potatoes were just okay.
Chocolate Layer Cake: Tasted great; nice ending to a good meal.
The fact that my entree came with all the extras was a perfect value meal.
Overall, my family and I were pleased with our experience and if we ever decide to eat out at a diner again, then THIS would be the place.

This is your typical jersey diner except the owner and the staff are friendly. Our group of 40 people came in and they bent over backwards to accommodate us. They staff was running around crazy getting us extra chairs after all, the back room is small.
I ordered the ranch burger. I was impressed because this burger came with bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, red onion, tomato , onion rings and coleslaw and pickle.Most burgers give you only one side. It was cooked to med- rare just as i ordered.all for $9.95 what a bargain.
I was so full i got the Greek rice pudding to go. I have to say it was wonderful and i consider myself and expert. This rice pudding was rich and creamy, it had texture, and it was custardy. Everything a good rice pudding should be. There is free parking in their lot ,which is key in Westfield.

Took point off for mgmt / hostess rudeness; waiters cold too. Parking terrible
Well its a diner; coffee seemed pretty good, the ham egg and cheese on a hard roll sandwich seems pretty good, the cottage cheese was cold not too runny, but I can't really think of anything special nice other than the high open ceilings maybe slightly too bright but least that we could see your breakfast well. Strange fact ALERT: There are three payphones in their lobby???
This is really a cool diner. BYOB and outdoor seating!! Very friendly service. It's definitely a diner worth visiting, it almost doesn't even feel like your typical Jersey diner. I've been to many and have yet to really see any with outdoor seating!
So-so "Cuban Sandwich" coupled with a disappearing waiter probably means this place and I have played out our string.

Oh my god, my second time here
This place is a half hour away but sooooo worth the drive for the best Matzoh Ball soup ever!
It was perfect
The rice pudding was on my mind for hours after I left.
Oh man I'm coming back here as much as I possibly can
