I love this location. While busy, the store is always neat, clean and orderly. They always have the items that are on sale. Food is always fresh. I also think the employees at this location are among the most friendly. They are always nearby to help if needed and are very pleasant. The guys behind the meat and fish counter are always eager to help and will cut, debone, skin, etc. anything you want.
The prepared foods section is always fresh and filled.
Checkout is usually not a problem here either. While it can be busy, the lines always seem to move quickly.
The parking lot can get busy since the location is within a mall, so I just try to avoid the masses in the front of the lot and park towards the back of the lot. It saves a lot of aggravation.
The Paramus Whole Foods is my go to supermarket in Jersey. I do other supermarkets but they don't carry things like fresh Octopus, Pork Belly or the abundance of organic, vegan and non-processed foods. There sushi, flat bread pizza oven, coffee shop, cheese section fish and vegetable market surpass any of the other supermarkets I know. Then to top it have they have Wine and sprites store, bakery, flower shop and a small restaurant in the store and the list goes on. In addition to wines they have dozens of the odd ball craft beers, hot and cold food bars
If you know anything about Paramus malls of route 17 and route 4 then you know what a pain it is with the traffic and people. But Bergen County has Blue Law which mean that on Sunday I can drive here effortlessly and get a parking spot that's not a 1000 yards away from the entrance.
But if you the type that does not sweat it with traffic and parking then the other plus here is that this Whole a Foods is part of the Bergen Town Outlet Mall which has outlet stores for Century 21, Nordstrom, Gap, Bloomingdale, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger and more in addition to other restaurants and the other malls and major stores.
Located in the Bergen Towne center on rt 4 East.
This Whole Foods is much like every other Whole Foods. One of the things I like and dislike about this location is that it's inside of a shopping mall. Right after food shopping, I can check out some of the mall stores nearby. But the bad thing about this is that the mall gets crowded everyday except for Sundays, but the mall stores are closed on Sundays.
The selection here is quite large and lately I've seen weekday specials for sandwiches. The sandwiches aren't priced too bad at $5.
They have alot of organic and premium foods here, and there is a bakery and sushi area as well.
Expect to spend a pretty penny, as there aren't many bargains to be had here. But in general it's a good place to get things, like fresh natural juices, exotic candy bars, and dry aged steaks.
Parking can be a pain, but this grocery store is attached to a mall so that's expected.
I only shop here for certain products and brands that I can't find at other grocery stores because everything's natural and organic here (aka REALLY expensive).
But I always come here for their boxed Lundberg risottos and The Republic of Tea's matcha powder and I never repurchase them elsewhere!
Their staff is really friendly and helpful regardless of the time of day and their buffets are scrumdiddlyumptious, especially their Middle Eastern options lol.
All in all, I love this location!
Love coming here for their fresh meat, seafood and produce. They have a great selection of organic products but of course, their prices are much, much higher than your average supermarket.
Tip: you can sample their fruits! Just ask a staff member from the produce dept. and they will be more than happy to let you sample it.
Also, you can return mostly any item even if used (with a receipt) for a FULL REFUND!!
I only come here during lunch time at work to hit up the hot food and salad bar, I especially like that there is a lot of seating available for a dine in option. Everything here is delicious but of course a little pricey – this is why I tend not to buy the sushi but I have before and it's so good!
One of my favorite parts about their grab and go section is the cold drink set, they are organized in different categories such as functional beverage, tea, water and there is a coffee bar. I am usually the first to pick this place for a lunch spot and the only reason my coworkers would say no is because we would go there every day for lunch if it were up to me.
Craft beer selection is also excellent, I've stopped in here on a Friday to bring a couple of six packs home before.
I dropped by whole foods just to get a drink. And I loved their selection of stuff. The cashiers are really friendly too. Will visit again when at the mall.
This branch of WF represents its' premium brand very well. My main issue is with the location; anchoring a mall filled with off-price retailers like Century 21, Homegoods, Marshalls and others. High end and low end collide here — and the vibe can be a bit dicey — especially when you throw weekend holiday shoppers into the mix. Plenty of folks pushing shopping carts, baby strollers and buttons — often all three at once.
Weekdays are better for a relaxed shopping experience in this big &ss store. I prefer sourcing specialty items here rather than at nearby Fairway because the signage is better, the traffic pattern is smart — and the employees are pleasant and available. The raspberry mousse cake and their house brand Italian sparking water (6 litres at $6.99 all the time) are our standard excuses to shop here.
You pay for the quality of the WF brand — that's a given — so I expect the best service and the best products. Most of the time this location delivers just that.
