  1. I've had stellar experiences during the two times I've been here to Whole Green.

The last time I came, I ordered a medium pineapple + mango + soymilk smoothie. I was thankful to be able to custom-make that and have it come out within minutes. For around $6, you get a portion large enough to fill up your stomach.

The (what I assume is a) mother-daughter pair have treated me in a warm, open way. They have a wide range of snacks, including different types of Almondina's, my favorite flat-bread cookies (I'm about to post a photo of them).

During my first time here, I got their crunchy seaweed snacks once, which were easy to eat, savory, and well-packaged for on-the-go snacking, since I was in a rush to attend an event that day.

This is a great place to go for healthy snacks and smoothies to eat immediately or to bring home.

  2. Digging this spot! I customized my own smoothie and was super cheap compared to places like Organic Ave (etc): kiwi, peach, banana, cantaloupe for $5.50! The people working there are super friendly and have great suggestions too. As an added plus they carry all kinds of stuff I like: roasted seaweed, Talenti gelato, gazpacho, Asian ice creams.

  3. Fresh made-to-order juice without breaking the bank. They have $5 24 oz daily rotating juice specials – today's was beet, carrot, apple, ginger. I feel myself getting healthier just  by typing about it.

  4. YES. Finally found a great place nearby to get an after-workout smoothie without spending $10. This place is awesome – a large smoothie (20oz) with protein is $7. They also have good 1/2 wraps (turkey/veggie and avocado) for $3 – really good deal. It's cash only FYI.

  5. Godsend after a night of dranking. They have a daily special where you get a LARGE smoothie for $5. Everything is made right then and there. Awesome!

  6. This is a great healthy-feeling place with reasonable pricing compared to other juice places for what you get. Beware of adding ginger though unless you really like ginger or at least add some apple to offset it. Wowee! A good place to go when you've eaten too much banana bread and need something green to get back on track. I recommend the "All Green."

  7. Note to self I really do have to bring my glasses next time because I could not read a darn thing off of the menu but I have to say this ended up being a blessing in disguise. Mango, banana, and soy milk is a new favorite combo.  It was a really delicious smoothie and I have no doubt I will come back based on that.

But another reason I cannot help but support this business is that the woman working the register literally took pity on me and helped me make my creation after I told her I could not see a darn thing because I forgot my glasses.  Note to self don't do this again.  She was so patient asking me do I want juice or a smoothie? what fruits? soy milk? Seriously how sweet is that?! She didn't have to and the fact that she took those extra steps touched me so much.

I will be back and you should go and thank me later.

  8. Best juice bar in the city! I like that it's locally owned and the women who run it are so kind. They give you the leftover juice in a little cup if they have any. The prices are also better than other places. Try the juice of the week. It's only $5-6 and in a huge cup.
