Gluten Free or not, I don't really care a whole lot. What I do care about though is whether something tastes good. And the chocolate cherry bomb trail mix I bought made by Whos was absolutely delicious. It has their really excellent granola along with pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, Ghiradelli chocolate, and cherries. It also happens to be vegan, like most of their trail mixes and granolas.
The granola in it was so good. I also tried a sample of their Oh Canada granola (with maple syrup and walnuts) and it was great as well. You can tell it is made fresh and it packs a ton of flavor. It has depth to its flavor, perhaps from being roasted or toasted. I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin seeds or sunflower seeds ( bought this because it had chocolate unlike their granola products) but here they actually added some nice texture and were toasted to perfection. The tartness of the cherries went really well with the rich dark chocolate also. I would absolutely get this again.
They also make brownies, cookies, nut bars, cupcakes (didn't see any at Do you tea where their products were sold but I could be mistaken), and a few savory items. I can only speak for the granola which I tried a little of and the trail mix, but both were excellent. They also use mostly organic ingredients and everything is all natural. A bag of trail mix or granola is about $8 so not cheap, but definitely reasonable for the quality.
I'm not on a gluten-free diet or anything like that, but I'm always interested in trying new foods, including creative variations of old favorites. So far, I've only had the beet and fig salad with walnuts and the spicy walnut bar, but both hit the spot exactly. So whether you have an aversion to gluten, looking for something healthy and fresh, or just want something delicious to eat, this place can definitely fill those needs. Can't wait to try more stuff in the future!
