Great sandwiches, including really good ice cream ones too. The old chain is making a comeback with new branding and menu items at their newest location here in TriBeCa.
I tried the Cuban, which was very good, as well as both varieties of the ice cream sandwiches: peanut butter cookies with strawberry ice cream and chocolate cookies with vanilla ice cream ($5.50 each). They were on par with Melt Bakery both in quality and style, though you didn't actually have to wait for them to thaw and they were the perfect consistency right away.
They also have a bunch of cookies, bagels, croissants and some bars from the long delayed Mah Ze Dahr Bakery, which will hopefully one day open nearby.
Another great lunchtime location for office workers in the area, this is a solid choice for a satisfying lunch.
