There are a lot of cupcake bake shops and bakery places that are wonderful. BUT my favorite sliced cake comes from William Greenberg. At this location I stop in so frequently they know me. I love the coconut cake the best so far. I keep praying they will offer the German Chocolate by the slice. Not only are the employees welcoming, helpful and friendly, they take credit cards. My slice of cake is $6.00. The Plaza Food Hall has seating. I haven't had a problem finding a nice quiet place to sit. I love to concentrate on savoring each bite!! Highly recommend for those looking for desert.
I can't tell you how many times I've frequented this place. It's one of my go to spots for the many office birthday parties. Their biggest draw besides the red velvet anything, are their cupcakes. Their assorted flavors box both mini and regular size makes it easy to please all. It beats buying one whole cake that people almost never finish.
Their cookies are a hit too…I have yet to decide on a favorite. Note: while I usually have a "salty" tooth, like I'm the one that would order a cheese plate for dessert instead of dessert. Same goes with my drink of choice. I'll order a cappuccino or coffee but I won't turn down a sautern. So with this place, I just can't resist buying the mini cupcakes and the cake pops. The Eloise cookie doesn't disappoint either. Moist and delicious, how all cookies should be.
Go check out their displays. You'd be drawn in too.
This is a nice offshoot of the original William Greenberg Desserts. It is a small walk-up counter in the Plaza Food Court.
They sell their famous caramel cake by the slice (which I am addicted to) as well as all of the other signature David Greenberg deserts. They also serve fresh coffee.
The staff is friendly and the lines aren't too bad.
