  1. Ordered via yelp. Two red curries to go with chicken and medium spicy.  The spice Level was great. The taste was average.  I liked that it didn't have too much of a coconut flavor but I would have liked more basil and more of a red curry flavor.  They give you a nice portion too.  Overall good spot for Thai food it seems.  May come back and try one of my fave Thai noodle dishes- pad kee mow or pad see ew

  2. Good singaporean /southeast asian food. Not that authentic but still one of the best you can find in the states 🙂

Super nice and friendly service and the portion was generous

  3. Great flavors with mix of the many Asian cuisines you find in Chinatown.

This place is kind of a new hidden gem in Chinatown.  Located a few steps underground in the basement, the place is clean, well lit and flavors do not hold back from your South Asian cravings.

Ordered the Tom Yum seafood noodle soup ($7-8), was a bit on the saltier side, but the flavors were bold and tangy.  Rice noodles were cooked al dente and seafood tasted pretty fresh.

The lemongrass marinated pork chop over rice($7-8) reminds me of the Vietnamese pork chop over rice at other Viet joints and it looked exactly like it.  The only difference between this place and other Viet places is that the meat was super soft and well seasoned.  I ate everything in sight, even the lettuce garnishments.

For dessert, sticky rice pudding with coconut milk.  I thought this would be like a cool and cold Jelly type pudding, but it was a traditionally made HOT dessert.  Tasted good, but it was too filing.  If you had a big meal prior to this, I suggest you save some room.

Service was very attentive.  They should really give a knife when you have a big piece of meat and don't decide to eat it caveman style.  I had to ask for some utensils such as a knife to cutup my big piece of pork chops, but they were fast.  Seating is pretty spacey for the amount of room they had in the basement and can easily fit 8-10 people if they combine some tables.

Can't wait until the weather gets warmer so I can try their shaved ice, it looked cool and tasty from their chalk menu up on the wall.

Accepts all major credit cards, AMEX!

  4. Yelp Check-In + order an appetizer = free mini thai iced tea…whoo hoo

A little mix of southern asian cuisine that hits the spot. Friendly services, yumm-o food and casual setting. It is located down a flight of stairs in the basement of the building.

  5. came in for a lunch recently and it was rather empty but the place was warm and toasty. the tables are nicely sized for the amount of dishes we ordered and if you checked in on yelp you get a nice whiskey glass sized thai iced tea, but they limit that to one per table. they should make it available to everyone who checks in on yelp. the hainanese chicken was tasty, the seafood chow fun with egg sauce was great, the indian pancake was flakey. the fish head soup was a nice big bowl so good if you want to warm up from the cold. the fried noodles wasn't a big hit at the table but weren't bad by any means. and the okra with belachan sauce was decent although i've had better. overall a good lunch.

  6. Located in the basement, the space feels dark and the tables and utensils are all a bit sticky. I didn't feel safe drinking their tap water and they even sell bottled water so I'm probably not the only one with this concern.

Nothing especially good about the food. We shared the roti canai, soft shell crab, calamari, basil and egg claypot, pan fried noodle, and banana leaf stingray, but I think it was skate, not stingray.

A very typical Chinatown restaurant where the food does not justify the lack of cleanliness.

  7. I never branch out to Chinatown but I was introduced to this gem by a friend. The food is surprisingly good. I got:
    roti canai
thai mango salad with crispy soft shell crab: this was my favorite dish
    nasi lemak
    I definitely recommend this place!

  8. What am interesting place! So they have Thai, Malay, Viet, Chinese cuisine all in 1 menu! I ordered Viet spring rolls, Penang har Mee, drunken noodles and a roti. I would say everything was pretty authentic, except the Viet spring rolls weren't as good as the ones you would get at an actual Vietnamese restaurant. I loved the variety on the menu! I almost didn't know what to order bc the possibilities were endless. If you want to eat a mix of different south eastern cuisines, try this place out. Pretty legit!
