After reading all the great reviews I went there craving for bagel. The bagels were a little hard to chew but other than it tasted good. The chives cream cheese was tasty. Not sure what the hype is for coz i saw a long line to get into the little dirty shop to order. The best thing i had was the fresh squuezed oj!

At the end of day, bagels are just bread but these bagels are great bread. I have always ordered everything bagel, simply because … it has everything. I like poppy seed, onion, garlic, sesame together on one bagel

Frankly, I had better bagels but this place is pretty good. One way you can distinguish between good and bad bagels is that only bad bagels need to be toasted. So dont toast these good bagels- bread is soft inside and crunchy outside as is.

The place looks a bit dated, or somebody may put it, authentic haha. So dont expect to a nice & fancy brunch place when you go get the bagels

I swing by at 6am when I'm heading out on a boat to fish. The bagels are fresh and warm. Bacon Egg Cheese sandwich is really good.

Guys are friendly and on top of things.

Thank god they are opening one in the heights soon. Really needed up here.

Mmmm….bagels. A ball of gluten stuffed with cream cheese is usually one of the first thoughts that pops into my hungover brain on a weekend morning.

During my 3 year stint in NYC, I lived within 5 minutes of at least 5 spots to grab a bagel. Although ***I don't mind the 15 minute walk*** to Wonder Bagel, there should definitely be another reliable bagel spot in JC to feed the masses of high rise buildings.

Okay, enough ranting about a 15 minute walk and onto the bagel. It was soft, warm, chewy and delicious. Exactly as a bagel should be. Believe the hype–this is definitely one of the better bagels I've had.

I wasn't really feeling cream cheese or an egg and cheese combo, and instead went with muenster cheese and tomato. I'm weird…I know. I was hoping it would come out more like a grilled cheese and less like a sliced cheese sandwich, but it was still delicious and topped with heaping mounds of cheese.

BF ordered a pork roll egg and cheese and ended up with a bacon egg and cheese. He was a little bummed, but at the end of the day you can't really complain about getting bacon. Bacon is really good.

We got there at 12 so there wasn't too bad of a wait, but I can imagine that a bit earlier in the day it's poppin' off. Luckily when I'm hungover and want a bagel I don't emerge from my cave until well into the earlier part of the afternoon. I'm sure that I've got a multitude of weekend morning stops ahead of me in my future. Hopefully I'll still make it there during the winter months. Unless I can figure out a way to teleport myself a bagel. #DreamBig

***I also don't mind walking 15 minutes during summer to feed myself. Winter is an entirely different story***

I've gotten my egg & cheese from another place close by, who gets their bagels from Wonder Bagel, and enjoyed it very much. today I decided to go straight to the source, and was a bit disappointed. I expected to get the freshest bagel in town… didn't seem so… maybe because I took my order to go and it is a few minutes walk to get home before we ate, but the cream cheese on toasted everything bagel was oddly chewy, and my egg&cheese was not much better. I was at another WB location a few years ago and remember it being bright and full of stuff. This location seemed less so. Overall an underwhelming experience. I'll get my bagel sandwiches at my 2 favorite spots closer to home, even if that means they are not made on site.

NYC bagel shops do exist in Jersey City!

In pursuit of an amazing bagel shop in Jersey City, Yelp led me to Wonder Bagels.  The bagels truly are handmade – you can see them being made behind the counter, and all the classic options to choose from – everything, whole wheat everything, salt, garlic, poppyseed, you name it. Thankfully, I went mid-day on a summer Friday so I was not subject to the long, miserable lines that are known to exist.

I went with my classic bagel shop order of everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and iced coffee.  Both were delicious.

A no-frills, excellent bagel shop in Downtown JC.  You won't regret it.

My husband and I were craving bagels on a Sat morning and came across this spot.  In my opinion, the bagels don't really compare to the bagels you get in the city.  I haven't really tried any of the other bagel spots in JC however so I'm not sure how it compares on that front.

    The Good:
    – Freshly squeezed OJ!
    – Bagels are super soft so makes them ideal for sandwiches

    The Bad:
    – Not too many cream cheese options (probably had 6 or 7 options)
    – Expect to wait in line on a weekend

I'll continue my bagel search in JC to see how this spot compares to others!

This is my go-to bagel place when I'm visiting my buddy in JC. It's only a couple of blocks away from him and the bagels are really good.

Today was no exception; the only issue that I had was that the order got screwed up (and I didn't know until I got the 3 bagels home). It wasn't a huge deal…mistakes happen.

This place gets REALLY busy. Get there before 9am. Heck…get there earlier than that…otherwise the line is around the corner. The line moves…not terribly fast…but it moves.

It's very small and if you are in line and happen to be in the doorway….you're blocking the doorway. Just saying.

If you're going to indulge in a bagel and are in this neck of the woods, go for it.
