Friend candy shop with bins of scoopable chocolates and everything from candy corn to Gummy Bears. This isn't one of the city's pretentious candy shops, this is like a bodega dedicated to candy and comic book swag. Soft serve yogurt is served at the counter and from a window servicing the passers-by. Candies can be purchased in bulk/by lb or oz, or in bags. Lots of fun little comic book action figures and little toys. A great place to lift your spirits be you 5, or 95. Staff is incredibly friendly and always welcoming. Give this place a try and help keep small shops like this alive and well on the Upper East Side!
I am shocked this place doesn't have more reviews. While strolling up and down Lex yesterday, waiting for my friend to get off work, I kind of stumbled on this place. But once I took in the staggering visuals and actually walked inside, I was so glad I did. Echoing another yelper, this place truly is "nuts." It's an old school candy shop in every sense of the world. Jelly beans, ice cream, licorice, giant lollipops, toffee, taffy, chocolate … you name it, they've got it. But where it goes really bonkers is all the other brightly colored goodies they have – hundreds of bobbleheads, PEZ dispensers and plush toys. Honestly, I didn't even see the nuts anywhere because it was overshadowed by a whole lotta candy. Props to the gentle, warm Bangladeshi storeowner who seemed a very nice person.
As a Muslim, the bane of my existence has been porcine gelatin, which is most often used to make gummy bears and marshmallow-based products. Alhamdulillah, this place has kosher gummy bears! And different kinds! I filled up a bag with $5 worth of kosher Haribo gummy centipedes (yes, they exist!), liquid-filled gummies and kosher dinosaurs. I was one happy tourist for the rest of the day.

$16 a lb for candy? Big selection, but I won't be back for that price.
