Up there with best iced soy chai drinks I've ever had.Ice cold, just enough sweetness but not too much (which is rare in the US I've found so far) & a great blend of spices. If you get there early, there are a few little tables to escape the rat race & enjoy your beverage
Xanadu Coffee is a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. With the former Ports coffee down the block recently closed, Xanadu provides a much-needed caffeine pick-me-up to the popular Chelsea block. Plus, next to the 23rd street Crunch, it provides a great alternative to Starbucks lattes before or after the gym! (I'm looking at you!)
Xanadu is the sister coffeeshop to Kahve in Hell's Kitchen. While not the same owners, it's in the same family so you can be assured you're going to get the same amazing quality coffee, pastries, and snacks (including those delicious breakfast pizzas and scones) you'll find at Kahve – and, of course, having different owners you will find a few variances.
While I have only visited once thus far (opening day was only a few days ago), the staff was super friendly, my soy latte was awesome, and the "Uncle's" almond cranberry biscotti was very tasty. The owner was nearby and was happy to introduce himself. I look forward to returning to Xanadu whenever I'm in Chelsea, and I truly wish them and their team all the best success.
I had a great customer service experience here, but the cold brew was pretty weak. I'll keep searching for a new spot to replace the now-closed Rex!
Dislike.

cons: Limited seats. Slow service.
pros: NA
Small coffee shop in Chelsea – the barista is super friendly. They sell a small amount of pastries and some macarons from macaron cafe. Not really a sit and work all day kind of place but a great shop to meet up with friends for a quick chat.
