Korean fried chicken is known for their crispy chicken, the sauce and the length of time it takes to prepare. Knowing that it takes 20 to 30 minutes, I called ahead for dine-in and was advised it will only take 10 minutes. 10 Minutes??? Whattt that's unheard of..but I gave them the benefit of a doubt they knew what they were doing. I arrived after 15 minutes after ordering and my food was packed up to go when I advised them twice on the phone that it was for dine-in. I paid for my order and advised them again, this is 4x that it was to stay and she stared at me like I had 20 heads. Finally, I just asked for plates, napkins, chopsticks and sat down on the ONE table they had.
I ordered the 10 piece wings hot & spicy. I don't like my food sweet so ordering hot & spicy I was really hoping for that spice factor. Did I get it? Nopeee!! My chicken was not crispy, very garlicky, a little sweet and a little spicy, if that's what I wanted I would have ordered sweet and spicy. The wings were drenched in a thick sticky sauce that was not enjoyable. I just ate them since I was hungry but what bothered me the most was the lack of care for their customers. My fingers were soaked in the sauce and needed a bathroom to clean up, they advised me to go to 7-Eleven …What!?!? I provided you business and I just simply needed to wash my hands and you're going to tell me to go to another store? Never again!!! You want great Korean chicken go to BonChon!!
It wasn't bad but it wasn't great.
It's different from Bon Chon and Kyo Chon. It actually tastes healthier and it's a tad more expensive.
There isn't much to say, other then there was a lot of meat and it was just okay chicken.
Nothing too spectacular or noteworthy.
/TL;DR I LOVE THE CHICKEN HERE! If you haven't tried KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) you cannot call yourself a foodie.
/ATMOSPHERE None. There's basically two tables to sit at so plan to take it home.
/FOOD It's basically fried chicken with different sauce choices.
/SERVICE I mean, if you're going to eat there, I'm sure they'll accommodate. Just don't expect them to come by and give you water or something.
