Small store, quick & efficient service
No tables or place to eat inside – Only to go
I tried their Soba Noodle Bowl and it was a layered meal. What I mean by that is that they put all the ingredients stacked in a bowl and nothing mixed together. First you eat your layer of spicy chicken then there's salad on the side with no dressing, only when you eat both you can reach the small, very small, portion of soba noodles. And no, there's no way you can mix it all up, the bowl is too way too full and the chicken full of red sauce waiting to make a mess.
Didn't feel like I was eating a "healthier" choice
You know, I'm just not a health food person. But beyond that, they consistently overcook their chicken and seem to saute their vegetables in nothing. Everything here is just so tasteless (and not in that good Las Vegas way). The chicken soup is actually quite good, and back against the wall I can eat their beef bowl, but healthy does NOT have to equal bland.
I am a fan of their soups – always a good selection and can sample before deciding.
I had a rice bowl once and didn't like it – it was just OK. Will keep sticking to their soups when I just want a soup without having to pay $7-$8 elsewhere for a single serving.
I'd recommend ordering smoothies from here, but not the bliss bowls or the sandwiches. While the smoothies are definitely made to order, the bowls and sandwiches are pre-made, so I can't really speak to the freshness of the food you are getting.
Of the smoothies, I've had the energy crunch and the yorgasm. The yorgasm is a pretty run-of-the-mill fruit smoothie. If you want something a little different, I'd definitely go with the energy crunch. Plus, if you need the extra boost of caffeine, it has espresso beans in it! The flavor does take a little getting used to, but it's quite refreshing and all of the ingredients are delicious AND good for you. 🙂 I can't speak to the flavor, but my coworkers also love the credit crunch with an extra scoop of peanut butter.
Their online ordering system makes everything super simple, although you can also order from them through seamless. Delivery is usually under an hour, but can sometimes take longer with a larger order.
This is pretty damn good 😀 arghhhhh brain freeze. I got here a seasonal Greek yogurt parfait(peach/mango) with my 3 toppings consisting of raspberry, almonds and strawberry.
Stopped by for some lunch and got the soba noodle bowl. I was definitely not impressed — the noodles were not flavored, just kind of salty, and the chicken was unseasoned as well. The sauce provided was too sweet and the bowl just seemed disjointed in flavor and texture– nothing I would go back for. The portion of the bowl was satisfying though, and there were quite a few bowl options. In regards to the vibe of the place , I was thoroughly confused. It feels a bit like a convenience store , just plain, which I found as out of the ordinary for the usual healthy & organic smoothie/yogurt/food spots. The service was nithing notable and in all, I am not tempted to come back for either the food or the atmosphere given my first experience.
Do you want to save 5$? If so, go here vs the juice generation around the corner.
Conveniently close to the soul cycle or you know post whole food destress
I usually make my own smoothie – almond milk, pb, raspberries, blueberries, black berries, and a banana. Less than $6 ftw
$2 off yelp deal for fro-yo which was great because this frozen yogurt is not cheap! At $5.95 for a medium cup NOT INCLUDING toppings, this fro-yo is too rich for my blood. It's a dollar for one topping and 50 cents for each additional topping, which is why I only got two toppings…
As for the actual frozen yogurt, I found it to be just okay. I wasn't a fan of the taste. I like my fro-yo more tart but this was different. Not sure how to describe it but it wasn't to my liking. Overall, too pricey and nothing overly special. Just adequate to fix a craving and trying to be "healthy" at the same time.
