Much like the Yuki Hana in Little Ferry, I really liked this place. The restaurant decor allows for a more private dining experience, given the partitions between the tables and booths. Not that I needed privacy with my sister, however, we were able to feel like we were in our own little section and focus on our gossip.
The chirashi that I ordered was fresh and the pieces were huge. My sis ordered a couple of fancy-ass rolls and she loved them. Our waitress was attentive without being all over us. She even brought each of us a complimentary ice cream and cookie dessert at the close of our meal. Much appreciated and so tasty! We sat and chat for a bit afterward and no one made us feel rushed to leave.
The parking in this "strip mall" is wacky (is this even considered a strip mall?). It's all on a huge slope and there are not a lot of parking spaces. The lot was packed when we arrived at about 7:30 PM so we made our own spot down by a seemingly vacant trophy shop.
All in all, solid dining experience. I would absolutely go back!
Pretty reasonable prices with top notch sushi. We didn't love the all you can eat package but ordering off the menu is fantastic. No delivery 🙁
Highly recommend
Unimpressed. That's about all one can say, about the menu. With the exception of some noodle dishes and 1 or 2 Korean items, the menu was very ordinary. The agedashi tofu was crisp on the outside, but not as soft and creamy as it should be. The spider roll was more like futomaki than a true spider roll, and although the katsu don was generous, it was unimpressive at best.
Service was attentive.
The decor was appealing, being a mixture of traditional Japanese and a few modernizing influences.
Parking can be a problem, because the lot was both small and uncomfortaby hilly.
