I had noticed from checking Yelp's "Near You" feed from peoples reviews that a new sushi restaurant had recently opened with a five star average; I bookmarked it instantly. I literaly came here the next day for lunch!
The dining area of the resturant has a clean modern look to it. The seating is all booths which are higher than normal to provide a litttle extra privacy.
Since we were here for lunch, I really didn't look at the regular menu and went straight to the lunch menu. There was all kinds of lunch specials from Bento boxes to rolls to sashimi lunch specials.
Both of our lunch specials came with the standard miso soup and ginger dressed salad. The only food I'm not to fond of eating with chop sticks is salad and I was so glad they automatically gave us forks with our salad.
I got the Sashimi Lunch which came with twelve pieces of sashimi and a bowl of rice. They were not at all skimpy with the size of the pieces of sashimi; I tried housing an entire piece but it's really made for two or three bites haha!
The wife got the Shrimp Tempura Bento Box which along with the Shrimp Tempura and dipping sauce, came with shumai, rice, and a California roll.
When we were done eating our server asked us if we wanted to look at the desert. I hadn't had mochi in awhile so I couldn't resist getting the green tea mochi which was soooo good.
I can't wait to come back here for dinner!
Saw a new japanese restaurant and decided to jump in
Interior looks brand new. Grand opening O/ congrats
Got seated right away… might be bc they just opened and are slow on business
Got random sushi dishes.. super fresh and fast. The chef knows what he's doing
Wait staff super friendly and quick (might be bc it wasn't fully packed) but definitely satisfied
Will come back again if I'm ever in the area
Believe this restaurant used to be a dine in Chinese restaurant which had been in town for 20+ years, but they changed management to younger folks who have other Japanese restaurants which have a good reputation. Went there to try it out their opening week, was impressed. Conveniently located next to the farmer's market so got take out for dinner after shopping for groceries. Didn't dine in but the place looked very sleek, modern, will definitely try dining in next time. Food was very good, fish was extremely fresh, prices were fair, very nice folks. Highly recommend. Got a miso soup, shrimp and mango salad, a dragon roll, and spicy tuna roll, very good!
