Well, Chinese people making my taco. What can I say? For what it is, it's ok. The tacos are big, but no flavor. The chili taco was different and good though. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointedisappointe.
I've been here a couple of times because I live literally around the corner. Divey Mexican-Asian taco joint. It seems clean on the inside and they've really stepped up their décor recently. And by décor, I mean a giant Asian mural of some temple and karate or kung fu fighter posters adorning the walls. I'm on the fence though with how I feel about the food. They use traditional jack cheese on their quesadillas and their meat tastes surprisingly delicious. Get the steak and cheese quesadilla! But it never seems to digest well for me. I also like their fries. But the cheese sauce if you get any comes on the side in a Styrofoam cup. Boo. And its cheese wiz. I've been here once when there was a guy getting arrested for a drug bust also. It's that kind of neighborhood. Take your food to go.
Last night I came in for a hankering for a cheese and chicken quesadilla and was disappointed that they gave me a less than half-filled salsa container. 🙁 That's kind of icky. I'm wondering if they didn't fill it up all the way or if they accidently gave me someone's partially used salsa. Guys, you have potential for being a delicious shitty taco joint. But step it up and watch these little things that make me fear for my health. Last note, I'm confused about the pricing. The menu for a cheese and chicken quesadilla said $3 something with some change and he charged me $4. Do they really charge you for tax on a taco? Or is the menu labeled wrong? I'm sorry, but normally if I go into get a crappy taco or Chinese take-out spot and they say on the menu this item is $9.50, they don't charge me $10. But I still have a soft spot for this place because it is 'yummy'.
My dad orders from here all the time. We always get chicken tacos, chicken fajitas, chicken rice and beans, and corn chips with salsa on the side. This is the only place nearby that serves fake ass mexican food that is delicious. I myself have ordered several other things, chicken and fries, tex mex tacos and burritos are great as well. They could make their food a little more mexican-y but oh well its good nonetheless.
Cheap Mexican food made by Chinese people? Sign me the hell up every second or third Saturday (or so it seems).
Their salsa…I would probably run over someone, in front of their own momma, for more of it. Seriously. NEED MOAR.
Best deal on the menu would have to be the $6 special which consists of 2 big tortillas, a ton of rice, beans, meat, and vegetables, AND a can of soda.
The tacos are good, a little greasy/soggy but not overly so. The quesadillas are also made well, but a little small. I had the Mexican pizza once, it was alright but nothing special.
It's a cheap Mexi-Asian place. Emphasis on the word CHEAP.
I've had their chicken and steak fajitas (individually speaking), quesadillas, tacos, nachos and this delicious dish compromised of grilled chicken tenders and french fries all mashed up (well…sorta mashed up) with two melted cheeses on it (cheddar and Monterrey jack I believe) – it's actually REALLY DELICIOUS, fast, no-frills and good for when you don't really care too much about *what* you're eating because you just want to stuff your face with cheap and yummy.
You get what you pay for here and I think my friend who lives nearby once saw someone get arrested after running into their bathroom to hide – but they hit the spot, serve their purpose and you can tell they (*sorta*) try to produce quality. It's quality food for the price…heavy emphasis on "for the price". lol.

I'm going to quote the famous philosopher Eminem:
"Blabbedy bloom blah, blum blabbedy bloom blah"
